A steady record
Built around your use
We strip back tired floors and rebuild them as workplaces, planning the partitions, ceilings, power and data so that your teams can move in without a second round of works.
Shopfronts, counters, banquettes and back-of-house areas are set out to your trading pattern, with works phased at night or in stages so you never have to close for long.
Reception desks, storage walls, bars and fitted seating are drawn, machined and finished in our own workshop, which lets us hold the details and the tolerances closer than a catalogue allows.
For homes, we take on full refurbishments and single-room improvements alike, coordinating trades and keeping you informed about what is happening on site and when.
Heating, ventilation, lighting and power are planned alongside the joinery rather than after it, so that services sit where they belong and nothing has to be boxed in later.
One project lead holds the programme, the budget and the trades, and at completion you receive drawings, certificates and a clear schedule of what was done and how to maintain it.

We asked Xterior Buildspace to refit two floors while the rest of the building stayed open, and they worked around us without a fuss. The joinery in the meeting rooms is genuinely well made. They flagged the ceiling problem early, which saved us a nasty surprise at the end.

Café ownerThey fitted out our café and kitchen in just under five weeks, and the finish is holding up well under daily trade. Nothing was hidden or rushed, and the cost came in where they said it would.
Priya Raval
Homeowner, BristolOur house had not been touched since the seventies, and the team took it back to the brick and rebuilt it with real care. They walked us through each stage, and the fitted cupboards are the best part of the job.
Programme, cost, site
A single room might take three to four weeks, while a full commercial floor usually runs eight to twelve weeks on site. We set the programme after the survey and the drawings are agreed, and we tell you up front where a long lead item could push the handover.
Yes. Many of our jobs are in occupied premises, so we plan noisy work for evenings or weekends, screen the site properly and keep fire routes clear. You get a named project lead who agrees each stage with you before the tools come out.
We price from drawings and a measured survey, and the quote lists what is included and what is not. If the building turns up something nobody could see, we agree the cost of the change with you in writing before any extra work starts.
Our workshop makes the bespoke joinery, and the fitters who install it are the same people who built it. Electrical and mechanical work goes to regular, qualified subcontractors we have used for years, and we hold the responsibility for all of it.
We prepare the drawings and information for building control and landlord approval, and we coordinate the submissions on your behalf. At handover you receive the electrical and gas certificates, fire safety documentation and warranties for the work we have done.
You contact us directly and we arrange a visit to put it right, with the work covered for twelve months after completion. We also leave a maintenance note for the finishes and fittings so you know how to look after them.
